Windows 7 RC (Release Candidate)

It seems that May 5th is when the Release Candidate for Windows 7 will be publicly released. I can’t wait to see how it functions in this state. To be honest I am really happy with the way the OS responds to everything I throw at it. Of course it responds much quicker on some of the apps that take a few extra seconds to load on Vista.

With luck we will see a final product ship by the end of the year. I will purchase it, but I will not install it until I’m ready since that would mean a full wipe of my default machine and a beautiful clean install of Windows 7.

To be honest for me Vista was not an Epic Fail, it was a milestone in Windows development. Windows 7 enhances much of what Vista brought to the desktop stage. I am really looking forward to Windows 7, and am really liking what I’m seeing.
