GameCube Memory Card 251

A while back I managed to finally pick up a new memory card for my GameCube, and yes I still own one. I was very happy with my purchase because it was brand new. The memory card I purchased was memory card 251, that means it has 251 Blocks. Now we all know about memory cards for our game consoles, well the older ones at least. These things were big hits when they first came out, because before them we had to deal with passwords and battery backups. My first memory card was the one I got from Performance for my Nintendo 64 back in 1998. I still own it by the way.

Now onto the GameCube and memory card 251. I plan on using this little baby for Soul Calibur II, Melee, and many other GameCube games which I own. There isn’t really much I can say about this thing that hasn’t already been said in the past. Besides it’s no Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, so I seriously doubt it has much meaning in the gamer world of today.

I do like saying memory card 251 though, it sounds so futuristic. Space Age! Memory Card…251! I still want to get Memory Card 1019, which holds about four 251’s. Oh yeah, it’s that bad!
